Joel DeBilzan
Joel DeBilzan grew up in Vadnais Heights, Minnesota, and fell in love with cooking at an early age. Joel spent the earliest years of his career working as a sous chef at The Kenwood’s former sister restaurant, In Season, before moving to Seattle in 2015 to train under nationally-renowned restaurateur Ethan Stowell.
While in Seattle, Joel carved a passion for Italian cuisine. In 2016, at the age of 26, Joel became the head chef of Tavolata Belltown, Stowell’s flagship restaurant, where he spent the next five years honing his craft.
But his Minnesota roots called him home. In 2019, Joel moved back to his home state and returned to The Kenwood as head chef. In 2021, Joel purchased The Kenwood. He enjoys serving up locally-sourced dishes with a regional flare – especially when they involve homemade pasta.

Lunch: Tuesday - Friday 11am - 2pm
Dinner: Tuesday - Saturday 5pm - 9pm (Not on Sundays)
Brunch: Saturday & Sunday 9:30am - 2pm
